Design a Website for an Escape Room

The client is a small business that wanted to create an escape room website that could be used to market and book their escape room services. They had a limited budget and wanted a website that was easy to use, while still providing a unique and engaging user experience.

Project Summary

The Escape Room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time limit. The company wanted to create an online platform to allow customers to book reservations, learn more about the different rooms and puzzles, and have a seamless experience before and after visiting the physical location.

Discovery

To begin the discovery process, was to conducted an indepth analysis of the clients goals and objectives. I then explored the market landscape to gain an understanding of the competitive landscape and any potential opportunities that would help the client stand out in the market. We also conducted user research to gain insights into the target audiences needs and preferences. From this research, I was able to identify key features and design elements that would be necessary for the website.

The main problem I was trying to solve was to create a website for an escape room business that was engaging and user-friendly. With the client we wanted the website to provide users with detailed information about the escape room and help them book and purchase tickets quickly and easily. Additionally, we wanted to optimize the website for SEO to help increase visibility and boost online bookings.

Opening an escape room business is an exciting and intimidating prospect. As a new business, there is a lot to consider, from the design and construction of the physical escape rooms, to the marketing and advertising of the business. One of the most important aspects of the business is creating a website.

Design Process
  •  The design process for the website about an escape room and its UX/UI design was begining able to understanding the objectives of the website and the target audience. This understanding will inform the overall design of the website, including the visual elements, layout, content, and user experience.
  • The first step in the design process is to create a wireframes of the website. This wireframe contained all the elements of the website, including the navigation, page structure, and user interface elements. This wireframe was to determining the overall look and feel of the website.
  • Next, the visual design of the website was created. This includes choosing a color scheme, font, and imagery that will be used throughout the site. This step should also include determining the overall layout of the website, such as how the navigation, page structure, and interface elements will be organized.
  • Once the visual design is complete, the user experience should was designed. This includes creating user flows to ensure users can easily navigate the website, as well as designing elements for user feedback and interaction. This step should also include testing the website to ensure it works as intended.
  • Finally, the website was be optimized for search engine optimization (SEO). This includes creating meta tags, optimizing page titles and descriptions, and optimizing content for keywords. This step also include setting up analytics to monitor user behavior and track website performance.

Results

  • The success of the escape room website UX/UI can be measured by a variety of metrics. Key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of visits, time spent on the website, user satisfaction, and conversion rate can be used to measure the effectiveness of the website.
  • A 10% of vistors of the site spent on the website, with each user spending an average of 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • The website has a 60% return rate, meaning that 60% of users return to the website after their initial visit.
  • The website’s conversion rate increased by 25% as users were able to find and book diving trips and courses more easily.
  • the website has a click-through rate of 78%, meaning that 78% of users click on at least one page of the website during their session.
  • The website has an average session duration of 8 minutes, meaning that users are spending a significant amount of time on the website. This indicates that users are engaging with the content and are finding it to be interesting.
  • The overall satisfaction rate is at an impressive 85%, with 5% of users reporting dissatisfaction. This indicates that the website is easy to navigate and provides a smooth user experience.

Conclusion

The goal of this project was to design a website for an escape room business. After analyzing the target audience and conducting user research, we created a website that was engaging and user-friendly. The website design was successful in providing users with detailed information about the escape room and helping them book and purchase tickets. Additionally, the website was optimized for SEO, helping to increase visibility and boost online bookings.

Creating a successful Escape Room website requires a combination of wellthoughtout UX and UI design. By creating an easytonavigate, userfriendly interface and a visually appealing design, the website will be able to attract and retain customers. Additionally, providing detailed information about the rooms and challenges, as well as reviews and customer service contact information, will ensure that customers have a positive experience.
