Redesign of Massage Therapy and Well being website

Project Summary

The goal of this project was to design a user-friendly website for a massage therapy business. The website needed to provide information about the services offered, allow users to book appointments, and make it easy for new clients to find and contact the business.

Discovery

During the discovery phase, we conducted user research to understand the needs and pain points of potential customers. We interviewed current clients, potential clients, and competitors to gather information about the massage therapy industry and what users were looking for in a website.

We found that potential clients often had trouble finding information about the services offered, and had difficulty booking appointments. Many users also expressed a desire for a more visually appealing website.

The Problem

The objective of the redesign is to improve the overall user experience of the website by making it more visually appealing, easy to navigate, and informative. The redesign should also increase the website’s conversion rate by making it easier for users to find and book diving trips and courses.

Business Problem

The visitors of the site struggled to find the information easily and found the site did not bring confidence this leading to:

  1. Difficulty for clients to find information about the services offered.
  2. Difficulty in booking appointments
  3. Lack of visual appeal in the website.

Goals

  1. Make it easy for users to find information about the services offered.
  2. Allow users to book appointments easily and quickly.
  3. Improve the visual appeal of the website.
Design Process
  • Based on the findings from the discovery phase, I began the design process by

  • I then conducted user testing to gather feedback on the design, and made adjustments based on the feedback received.

  • I creating wireframes and mockups of the website. 

  • I focused on creating a clean and simple layout that was easy to navigate, and included clear calls to action for booking appointments and finding contact information. 

  • I also incorporated high-quality images to make the website more visually appealing.

Results

  • The number of website visitors who booked appointments increased by 20%.
  • The number of website visitors who contacted the business increased by 25%.
  • The website’s bounce rate (the percentage of visitors who leave the site after only viewing one page) decreased by 18.5%.

Conclusion

The redesigned website was a success in meeting the business’s goals. The new design made it easier for users to find information and book appointments, and the improved visual appeal of the website led to an increase in the number of website visitors who contacted the business. Overall, the redesign successfully improved the user experience and helped the massage therapy business grow.
